Music Submission Policy

Human Factor does not accept unsolicited material.  Please do not mail us anything unless we have requested it.  Unrequested submissions will be destroyed unopened and discarded.

If you are a composer and you wish to be considered for representation in the Human Factor Music Library, we pre-screen composers through certain approved channels such as Taxi and Sonicbids.

When we are looking for new material, we will update this page with a link to an open submission listing.

The fine print

If you submit music through one of the approved channels, you will be asked to agree to the following terms:

Human Factor’s review of any of your submitted material does not constitute an agreement to represent, use or pay you for your music.  There is no implied or explicit agreement to enter into any contract or representation agreement until such time as terms are negotiated and agreed upon in writing. By submitting your music to Human Factor you understand and agree that Human Factor receives many submissions and that some music sounds similar and that Human Factor may be working on similar music with its current composers or may be considering representing artists with similar music.  Therefore, by submitting your music for consideration, you agree to waive any claims against Human Factor or its officers or employees from any and all damages, liabilities, costs, claims, damages or expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising out of or related to your request for representation and the submission of your music for consideration.  You must hold all rights to the music you wish Human Factor to consider.  All sources or samples contained in the music must be identified and cleared for use by you prior to submission of any music to Human Factor for consideration.
